Breakfast for Moms
On Saturday, January 30th, from 8 - 9:30 a.m., in the Concord Road House, we are hosting a breakfast for moms who have been involved in adoption or foster care. This will be a great opportunity to connect and build relationships. Heather Redington is organizing this event. If you choose to attend and/or help, please RSVP at shredington@comcast.net.
Haitian Orphan Care
You may have heard in the news, our state department is uniting paper-ready Haitian orphans with their adoptive parents. But, there is also a possibility that non-paper-ready children who have been orphaned because of the earthquake (or before the earthquake) may be coming for long term, international foster care. There are no firm details, and we do not know if these children will ultimately be adoptable. But, if you are a family who is willing to be considered as a foster family for Haitian orphans and you have an up-to-date homestudy, background check, and fingerprints, then fill out this survey and be placed on our list for Middle Tennessee.
